After a standout first year of success, the hybrid learning program known as Discovery Fusion is officially rebranding as DiscoveryFLEX — a name that better reflects its flexible, forward-thinking approach to public education in Louisiana.

Backed by the highly respected Discovery Charter Schools network, DiscoveryFLEX is a tuition-free hybrid public school model that blends online instruction with on-campus support. Originally launched as “Fusion” in 2023, the program exceeded enrollment expectations and quickly gained a reputation for meeting students where they are — academically, emotionally, and logistically.

Now, with its official name change to DiscoveryFLEX, the school is embracing a new identity that honors both its growth and its guiding purpose.

Why the Name Change?
