Friends of the Capitol Park Museum
Griffin Landry, President
Griffin Landry is the youngest-ever president of a Louisiana State Museum support foundation, bringing bold energy and fresh perspective to nonprofit leadership. As president of the Friends of the Capitol Park Museum, Landry has led the organization through a dynamic period of growth and innovation. Under his leadership, the Friends became the first Louisiana State Museum group to go fully digital with membership cards, launched the museum’s first summer programming series, and revived the annual Gala after a decade-long pause. In 2025, they hosted the largest Spanish Town Parade Party in the organization’s 11-year history, further establishing the museum as a cultural hub.
Landry’s commitment to community and collaboration has helped the Friends expand access, deepen local partnerships, and make the museum a welcoming, inclusive space where Louisiana’s stories are preserved, celebrated, and shared.
